O.S.L.I.N. was established in 1991 by a group of Sierra Leoneans living across the state of Indiana.  They decided that they would join together in solidarity and unity to help those in need as a result of the ongoing civil war in Sierra Leone.  It is that innate desire to help our people back in Sierra Leone that has driven members to stay consistently dedicated to providing sustainable solutions to the people of Sierra Leone through our many programs and fundraising efforts that span over 25 years of time.
